Two armed robberies have been reported this month in the South Side Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.

During each incident three suspects entered a business with a gun and robbed the stores, according to a business alert from Chicago Police.

The robberies happened at 12:30 p.m. August 6 in the 7200 block of South Wentworth Avenue and at 12:55 p.m. August 12 in the 7400 block of South Vincennes Avenue, police said.

The suspects are described as black men between 18 and 35 years old, standing between 5-foot-9 and 6 feet tall, weighting from 150-230 pounds, police said.
