1. BROTHERLY LOVE: Bears rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller didn’t spend too much time guarding his older brother Corey, a Lions receiver. He was too busy chasing Calvin Johnson around. But there was some brotherly banter. After Corey was tackled on his 21-yard reception, Kyle walked up and knocked the ball from his hands. “It was pretty cool,” said Fuller, who traded jerseys with his brother after the game. “It was different. I enjoyed it, but I tried to block it out.”
2. STOPPING SUH: Detroit defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh may have had his least productive day of the season. The volatile brute had zero tackles and one quarterback hit. But Suh still was a load to contain. Center Roberto Garza battled with him all game. Garza was called for holding in the second quarter, which negated a 22-yard reception by tight end Martellus Bennett. Two plays later, the Bears punted.
3. GOOD FOR GOULD: Kicker Robbie Gould’s career-long streak of five games without a converted field goal, which included three games in a row without an attempt, finally came to an end. Gould made a 35-yard field goal in the third quarter to narrow the deficit to 24-17. It was his first field goal since making 25- and 28-yard attempts Oct. 12 in Atlanta.
