Two Chicago-based companies and plenty of recognizable firms are among the best places to work in job site Glassdoor’s newest ranking based on employee feedback.
Orbitz Worldwide, the travel site company, shows up at No. 42 and Edelman, the public relations firm, is at No. 43 on the Employees’ Choice Awards 50 Best Places to Work 2015. It is the seventh year Glassdoor has released the list for companies with at least 1,000 employees.
Topping the list are Google at No. 1, Bain & Co. at No. 2 and Nestle Purina PetCare at No. 3.
Other companies that made the list include Facebook (13), Southwest Airlines (15), Apple (22), Costco Wholesale (29), and Ford Motor Co. (35).
