A teenage boy was shot Sunday morning in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The 16-year-old was walking in the 6800 block of South Morgan at 10:05 a.m. when two people approached him, fired shots and ran away, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
