THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2014

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will host the Summit on College Opportunity at the Ronald Reagan Building. This year’s summit will focus on building sustainable collaborations in communities with strong K-12 and higher education partnerships to encourage college attendance. The summit will also focus on supporting colleges to work together to dramatically improve persistence and increase college completion, especially for first generation, low-income, and underrepresented students. This event is pooled for TV and open to pre-credentialed still photographers and correspondents.

In the evening, the First Family will attend the National Christmas Tree Lighting on the Ellipse. The President will deliver remarks. This event is open to pre-credentialed media.
