A male was seriously wounding in a shooting early Monday in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The shooting happened in the 1100 block of North Harding at 3:24 a.m., police said.

The male, whose age was not immediately available, was shot in the back and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.
