Saying 2014 “ended in total disappointment,” Bears president and CEO Ted Phillips said in a letter to season holders Wednesday that ticket prices will not rise this upcoming season.
The Bears announced, too, that prices will remain the same: $81 to $175 apiece for non-club seats. United Club season tickets range from $275 to $550 per game.
The Bears will play the Cardinals, Broncos, Raiders, 49ers and Redskins at home, in addition to their three NFC North games.
In the letter, Phillips vowed the team would create new enhancements at Soldier Field and “play tough and smart, and bring the Super Bowl trophy back to Chicago for the greatest fans in the world.”
He thanked fans for their “steadfast” support during the 5-11 year.
Phillips touted new general manager Ryan Pace as a “rising star” who “will bring solid leadership skills and passion to the Bears.” New coach John Fox, he wrote, is “a proven winner.”
“We decided a new direction was necessary, and we have acted quickly and decisively,” he wrote.
