SHARE Calista Flockhart to join cast of ‘Supergirl’

Calista Flockhart (“Brothers & Sisters,” “Ally McBeal”) has joined the cast of the new CBS drama “Supergirl.”

The series focuses on Superman’s cousin Kara Zor-El (played by Melissa Benoist, of “Glee” and “Whiplash”).

Flockhart will play the DC Comics character Cat Grant, who in the series is a self-made media magnate and founder of CatCo. who hires Kara as her assistant.
