Police are asking the public’s help to find a man last seen Tuesday in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.

Avery Nelson, 30, was last seen in the 5700 block of South Wabash and may be confused, according to a missing person alert issued by Chicago Police.

Nelson is described as a 5-foot-10, 150-pound black man with brown eyes, black hair and medium complexion, the alert said. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater and black gym shoes.

Anyone with information should call 911, or Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
