Man shot in West Englewood

A man was shot Thursday afternoon in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The man, 27, was standing outside about 5:30 p.m. in the 6900 block of South Paulina when someone walked up and opened fire, police said.

He was shot in both legs and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man was not being cooperative with investigators.
