A teen was hurt in a shooting Monday morning in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The boy, 17, was shot in the upper right leg about 11:30 a.m. while riding his bicycle in the 1600 block of South Springfield, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

A police source said he was not being cooperative with investigators.

Nine other people were killed and 32 other people were wounded in shootings throughout the city over the Memorial Day weekend, officials said.
