A woman was shot while in a vehicle in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood on the South Side Tuesday night.

About 9:25 p.m., the 43-year-old was in a parked vehicle in the 4300 block of South St. Lawrence when she was shot by a male standing on the sidewalk, police said.

The woman, who suffered a graze wound to her neck, drove herself to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, police said. Her condition had stabilized.
