A 30-year-old man shot himself in the leg at a party early Saturday in North Lawndale on the West Side, according to police.

He was highly intoxicated when he suffered a gunshot wound to the leg about 3:10 a.m. at the party in the basement of a home in the 1900 block of South Trumbull, police said.

His condition was stabilized at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
