Man shot on South Side

A man was shot while walking no the South Side early Saturday.

About 2:10 a.m., the 27-year-old was walking in the 7400 block of South Eggleston when he heard shots ring out and felt pain, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to his right knee and left hip, police said. His condition had stabilized.
