A United Airlines flight from San Francisco skidded off a snowy runway at O’Hare International Airport on Friday morning.
United Flight 734, a B737-900 inbound from San Francisco, “rolled to the end of Runway 9L on landing” about 11:55 a.m. Friday, according to Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Tony Molinaro.
The plane went off the runway upon arrival, according to Chicago Department of Aviation spokeswoman Karen Pride.
United Airlines spokesman Charlie Hobart said the plane “partially rolled off the runway” after landing and that buses were being used to bring customers back to the gate.
A passenger on the plane, Don Dodge, tweeted that the plane was off the runway but no one was hurt.
