A man was shot in the Austin neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

The 20-year-old was riding in a car in the 300 block of North Central at 4:52 p.m. when someone started shooting into the vehicle from the sidewalk, according to Chicago Police.

The driver took him to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was listed in good condition.

The crash occurred about 10:52 a.m. along North Rand Road between East Dundee Road and Winslowe Drive, according to police.
