Boy, 15, shot in Woodlawn

A 15-year-old boy was shot Tuesday night in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

About 7:35 p.m., he was walking through an alley in the 6500 block of South King when gunfire erupted and he was struck in the thigh, according to Chicago Police.

The boy was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
