The Ditka report . . .

Da legendary Grabowski, also known as former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka, is now playing for his favorite quarterback, President-elect Donald Trump.

“I don’t mean to sound egotistical, but I thought he’d win all along,” Ditka tells Sneed.

“I think he ran a great campaign. The people decided. That’s it.

“I’m excited for him and for the country,” Ditka said.

So did he watch the election returns?

“I watched a lot — then I fell asleep,” Ditka chuckled. “Mike, I’m getting old! Then I woke up to see Trump had won!”

Advice from Da Coach?

“He [Trump] now needs to do what he said and clean the swamp. Too many people are full of BS. He needs to bring opportunity to America. To find people work. People need to get a job to support their families. Even if they take a job no one wants to do. A job is important. That’s what I was taught.

“He also needs to fix the border. Got to do what he says he is going to do.”

So how does Ditka feel about Hillary Clinton?

“She is a good lady. She ran a close race and a good campaign. But the people decided. Now people have to roll with it. We are already a great nation, but Trump needs to make it greater. Enough is enough. People were just fed up with what was going on.”

Do you think Clinton should be included in his cabinet? Do you see a role for Clinton and/or what she should do in the future?

“Let’s put it this way. I’m not about telling Trump who to pick for his cabinet,” Ditka said.
