A man tried to lure a girl into his car Monday in Ashburn on the Southwest Side.

About 5 p.m., a male driver pulled a black 1989 Chevrolet Caprice over next to the girl in the 4500 block of West 81st Street, according to Chicago Police. A 20 to 25-year-old man with a small Afro who was a passenger in the backseat told the girl to come over and get in the car.

The incident happened about a block west of the Stevenson Elementary School campus at 8010 S. Kostner Avenue.
