Woman shot in Humboldt Park

A woman was wounded in a shooting Saturday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 19-year-old told investigators she was inside a vehicle at 12:25 p.m. in the 900 block of North Homan when a car pulled alongside it and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

She suffered a gunshot wound to the left shoulder and was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, police said.
