Police are warning South and Southwest side residents and business owners of two restaurant burglaries Tuesday in the McKinley Park and Gage Park neighborhoods.

The burglaries happened in the morning in the 3100 block of South Ashland Avenue and the 2700 block of West 55th Street, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The offender was seen on camera, police said. The burglar was described as a man between 25 and 32 years old, standing between 6 feet and 6-foot-3 and weighing between 135 to 150 pounds.
