Police are searching for a woman who was last seen in the South Shore neighborhood nearly three months ago.

Virginia Roach, 53, was last seen Sept. 15 in the 7600 block of South East End Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Roach was described as a 5-foot-2, 350-pound black woman with black hair, brown eyes and medium complexion, police said.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts should call Area South detectives at (312) 747-8274 or 911.
