Two 16-year-old boys were shot Tuesday night in the Marquette Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The two teens were standing on the sidewalk in the 3000 block of West 64th Street at 8:33 p.m. when they heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

One was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with gunshot wounds to his left leg and right thigh, police said. The other was shot in the right leg and taken to Holy Cross Hospital. Both of their conditions were stabilized.
