Dennis McKinnon, a starting wide receiver on the 1985 Chicago Bears, spoke with Sun-Times Sports about how he thinks the 2015 Bears team will play this upcoming season.

VIDEO: Dennis McKinnon says 49ers loss fueled 1985 Bears run“Last year was hard to watch in terms of how our Bears played, especially on national TV,” McKinnon said. “Tremendous embarrassment to the city and tradition. I’m hoping this year will be better with a new head coach in John Fox. I still say we have Jay Cutler and the leadership aspect he’s supposed to bring to the table he has not brought in the years he has been here. That has to change for us to be effective.”

McKinnon’s prediction for the season is a 5-11 or 6-10 record.
