Inbound Stevenson reopened near Dan Ryan after crash

All lanes of inbound I-55 near I-90/94 were temporarily closed after a motorcycle crash left the driver injured Monday evening.

The crash occurred about 5:45 p.m., according to Illinois State Police. The driver was transported to an Stroger Hospital with minor injuries.

As of 6:50 p.m., all lanes were reopened, police said.

Nearly 70 arrested as police clear pro-Palestinian encampment at Art Institute of Chicago

Police said the museum asked them to clear the encampment on Saturday, hours after organizers set up a number of tents in the Art Institute’s North Garden that they said was intended to pressure the school to disclose its investments, give amnesty to demonstrators and divest from those supporting the “occupation of Palestine.”
