A man robbed a U.S. Bank branch at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon in west suburban Berkeley.

At 12:41 p.m., the man showed a handgun while he robbed the branch at 5401 St. Charles Rd. in Berkeley, according to the FBI.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-9, the FBI said. He was wearing a black hat with a gold sticker, a black long-sleeve shirt and black gloves.
