Chicago Police are warning residents of garage burglaries in West Town.

The burglars entered the garages through unlocked or unsecured doors and took property, according to a community alert from police.

The incidents happened:

  • about 11 p.m. July 2 in the 1100 block of North Winchester;
  • about 2:30 p.m. July 4 in the 900 block of North Honore;
  • about 8 a.m. July 7 in the 2000 block of West Augusta;
  • about 7 p.m. Monday in the 2400 block of West Chicago; and
  • about 6 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of North Hermitage.
