A man was wounded in a shooting early Thursday in the Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 29-year-old man walked into Community First Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the hand at 12:40 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

He told investigators he had been shot in the 5300 block of West Oakdale, police said. Further details were not immediately available.
