Chicago Police are cautioning Back of the Yards residents after three robberies were reported in the neighborhood in recent weeks.

According to an alert from Area Central detectives, the robberies occurred in:

-the 5100 block of South Honore in the early hours of Aug. 28;

-the 5200 block of South Marshfield in the early hours of Sept. 2;

-the 4900 block of South Wolcott in the early hours of Sept. 6.

In each case, several suspects approached people and demanded their property, police said.

The suspects are black males between 17 and 21 years old, each with brown eyes, black hair and weighing between 130 and 150 pounds, police said. They all stand between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10.

A black female between 16 and 18 years old was also in on the robberies, police said. She stands 5-foot-8 and weighs 130 pounds.
