A man was wounded in a shooting Tuesday morning in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The 27-year-old was walking in the 900 block of West 71st Street at 10:12 a.m. when two male suspects approached, he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the groin and right finger, and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in good condition, police said.

The suspects, described as males between 17 and 20, ran away after the shooting, police said.
