A man was shot Saturday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 37-year-old was walking about 3:15 p.m. in the 3800 block of West Augusta when shots were fired by someone riding in a light-colored vehicle as it drove by, according to Chicago Police.

The man was struck in the knee, thigh and abdomen, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition.
