A 21-year-old man was shot Wednesday evening in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

About 7 p.m., he was standing on a corner in the first block of West 110th Street when someone on foot fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man was struck in the abdomen and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. His condition had stabilized.
