Man shot in Lawndale

A man was shot early Sunday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

At 2:34 a.m., the 26-year-old was pumping gas at a gas station in the 3900 block of West Roosevelt when someone in a grey car fired shots, striking him in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
