A 22-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening in northwest suburban Itasca.

The crash between a motorcycle and another vehicle happened at 5:02 p.m. at Irving Park Road and Emerson Avenue, according to Itasca police.

The motorcyclist, 22-year-old Adham N. Ibrahim, was taken to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, where he was pronounced dead at 5:39 p.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He lived in west suburban Addison.

Ibrahim died of multiple injuries when his motorcycle struck a vehicle, and his death was ruled an accident, according to the medical examiner’s office.

No one else was injured in the crash, police said.

The DuPage County Accident Reconstruction Team was called to reconstruct the crash.
