A 32-year-old man was killed in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the Southwest Side Ashburn neighborhood.

Christopher Johnson was inside a vehicle at 2:18 p.m. in the 8100 block of South Kedzie when he was shot multiple times, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Johnson was taken in critical condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died at 2:51 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

An autopsy Wednesday found he died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.
