A man was wounded in a shooting Thursday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 30-year-old heard shots and felt pain about 6:35 p.m. as he was in the 3400 block of West Jackson, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right leg, police said. His condition had stabilized.
