The ramp from the outbound lanes of the Dan Ryan Expressway to the Chicago Skyway was closed for several hours early Wednesday after a semi truck rolled over and leaked fuel.

The truck driver hit a divider and lost control of the vehicle about 2 a.m. in the outbound lanes of I-90/94 at the ramp to the Chicago Skyway near 65th Street, according to Chicago Police.

The truck rolled over and leaked diesel fuel, authorities said. No injuries were reported.

The leak and hazardous material situation was contained by 4:11 a.m., said Chicago Fire Department spokesman Jeff Lyle.

As of 4:40 a.m., only one lane from the expressway to the Skyway had been reopened to traffic, Lyle said.
