Man, 19, shot in Chatham

A 19-year-old man was shot Thursday evening in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

He was walking through an alley about 9:10 p.m. near the 8300 block of South Drexel when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He went to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
