A 16-year-old boy was shot Wednesday evening in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The boy was shot in the leg at 7:12 p.m. in the 3800 block of West 26th Street, according to Chicago Police.

His condition was stabilized at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

He was not cooperating with police.
