A man was shot and critically wounded Saturday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 29-year-old was shot twice in the back at 10:47 a.m. in the 700 block of North Homan, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
