A man was shot and wounded Sunday night in the West Side Pilsen neighborhood.

The 26-year-old was standing on a sidewalk about 9:40 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Miller Street when someone in a passing white SUV fired shots, Chicago police said.

He was shot in his left shoulder and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized.
