David “Doc” Gene Smith | Indiana State Police

A 93-year-old man reported missing from central Indiana was found safe Sunday morning, according to police.

David “Doc” Gene Smith was last seen driving about 6 a.m. Saturday driving in Kokomo, Indiana, according to an Indiana missing persons alert. He was reported to be in extreme danger.

Smith was safe found early Sunday, according to the Howard County Sheriff’s Department.
