A man was fatally shot Friday evening in the South Side Calumet Heights neighborhood.

Multiple people walked up to Titus Daily, 40, at 7:28 p.m. and shot him in the 9300 block of South Luella, Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Daily was a resident of Dolton.

Area South detectives are conducting a homicide investigation. No one was in custody Friday night.
