Moon Alert

We have the “all clear” today to shop and do business. The Supermoon is in Leo.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Yikes! The moon is in your fellow Fire sign, which is good news; however, your ruler fiery Mars is at odds with stern Saturn. This means you feel blocked by bosses and parents. In fact, their comments might embody your worst fears about yourself. (Aaggghh!)

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

It’s very easy to question yourself today because you have a sense of internal inadequacy. (“I’m navel lint.”) It isn’t true. Lots of people feel this way today because of some tough energy. On top of which, the Supermoon amps everyone’s feelings. Oy!

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Tread carefully when dealing with friends and members of groups today because whatever you propose will probably be shot down. People feel cautious and careful today, and today’s unusual Full Moon can amplify these feelings of fear. But this is just an illusion. (Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.)

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You might find yourself at loggerheads when dealing with parents and bosses today. No matter what you suggest, they don’t approve. “Talk to the hand!” Knowing this ahead of time, fold your tent and wait for another day to make your pitch.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion and race today because they will go South in a New York minute. People are easily annoyed. They feel irritable and combative if provoked. (You need this like a fish needs a bicycle.) Relax and enjoy this Supermoon in your sign!

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Squabbles about shared property or inheritances might arise today. For sure, this is a poor day to have discussions about these matters, including taxes, debt and insurance. Personalities will clash. Furthermore, authority figures will shut you down.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Be patient with partners and close friends today because squabbles will arise. You might chalk it up to the energy of the Supermoon, but my money is on the fact that Mars and Saturn are at odds. Mars is aggressive and Saturn is immovable. Classic clash.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Don’t make a big deal about things when dealing with co-workers today, especially if they make mistakes. So what? Big deal. You make mistakes, too — we all do. But today, people are so touchy, if you criticize them they will react! Your confidence might be shaky as well.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Squabbles with kids and lover’s quarrels are par for the course today. The way to deal with this is to smile and be patient. Patience is the antidote to anger. It doesn’t address the cause but it does address the symptom. Patience is your best friend today.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Avoid family quarrels today because they will likely occur. Steer clear of this possibility, especially with an authority figure in the family. Don’t even go there. Nevertheless, financial matters and dealings with shared property will come to a head today. Cope as best you can.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You’re ready for bear today, which is why some people might run away from you. Be careful that you’re not coming on too strong or being too aggressive. Lighten up! Today the Full Moon is opposite your sign, which is an indication of tension with others. Stay mellow.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Squabbles about money or possessions are likely today. Avoid these if possible. It’s a strong Full Moon day, which means people are more excitable and more emotional about everything. Ideally, you want to keep a low profile. Chill out.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Singer-songwriter Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton (1976) shares your birthday today. You are an original thinker and a great communicator. Personally, you are fun-loving. This is your year of teaching and learning. What you learn this year will be crucial for your progress and success next year. This is an excellent year to explore meditation, yoga or any discipline that will help you to get a better understanding of who you are.
