Four vehicles were involved in a crash Thursday in Austin on the West Side, including two vehicles that belonged to the Department of Homeland Security.

About 7:20 p.m., three vehicles were eastbound in the 5200 block of West Jackson Boulevard when they became involved in a crash with a vehicle traveling westbound, Chicago police said. Two DHS employees — the driver of one vehicle and the passenger of another — were taken to Loyola University Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.

Police did not immediately provide any information as to what the DHS agents were doing in the area.

The DHS did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
