Arnaldo Rodriguez, 67, died of multiple injuries from the collision, the medical examiner’s office said.

A man died after being hit by a vehicle Jan. 8, 2020, in East Chicago, Indiana.

A 67-year-old man was killed in a crash Wednesday in northwest Indiana.

Arnaldo Rodriguez was struck by a vehicle about 7:15 p.m. at East 140th Street and Main Street in East Chicago, Indiana, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was pronounced dead about 10:17 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy determined he died of multiple injuries from the collision. His death was ruled an accident.

East Chicago police did not immediately respond to a request for more details on the crash.
