Customers who stop by Garrett Popcorn on Leap Day – Feb. 29 – will receive a little something extra. Stores will be offering a free upgrade from small to medium for any signature or limited time recipe, the Chicago-based company announced Wednesday.

That includes a returning, limited-edition recipe, Buffalo Ranch, which is available now through April 21, according to a news release. The bar snack-inspired flavor returns just in time for college basketball playoffs next month.

Buffalo Ranch is a mix of two recipes: Buffalo CheeseCorn, which is Garrett Popcorn’s signature CheeseCorn with added buffalo flavor, and Buttery Ranch, the signature Buttery recipe enhanced with buttermilk ranch.

The flavor combination has been offered seasonally in recent years and returns early this year to launch onLeap Day, according to the popcorn company’s announcement.

Other recipes available for the Leap Day deal include the classic, Chicago-style Garrett Mix, which combines the shop’s CheeseCorn and CaramelCrisp.
