Moon Alert

Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Chicago time. After that, the moon moves from Gemini into Cancer.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Behind-the-scenes research will help you, especially financially (even more so if you’re self-employed). Nevertheless, be aware of the limitations of the moon alert this morning (see above) and wait until it is over to act.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is a great day to meet new people because your interactions with others will be stimulating and illuminating! Younger people will teach you something new or open your eyes to a new dimension. Meanwhile, don’t shop or make important decisions until this morning’s moon alert is over.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Tread carefully! The moon alert this morning is in your sign, which means you could go off half-cocked and say or do something that you regret. Be smart and just coast. (Don’t shop for anything other than food, gas or entertainment.) Easy does it until the afternoon.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

After the moon alert is over this afternoon, the moon will move into your sign. Before that, avoid important decisions or spending money except for food or gas. Sudden travel opportunities might come your way. Wait until the moon is in your sign to act.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Something unexpected with banking, shared property or inheritances might occur. Don’t sign important papers or make important decisions during the moon alert this morning. Meanwhile, a confidential conversation with a female friend might take place.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This is a tricky day. Partners and close friends might do something you least expect. On the positive side, it could be an interesting introduction to someone new? Or exciting information? Avoid important decisions and actions this morning during the moon alert. Eyes are watching.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Something unexpected could change your work routine or your daily schedule today, especially related to pets. Stay on top of things. This morning is not an ideal time to travel or make travel plans. If you have to travel, allow extra time for delays and snafus.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Stay flexible today because surprise invitations to unexpected events might suddenly occur. This window of opportunity will be brief. Fortunately, during this morning, it’s a poor time to agree to anything important. (A bit tricky.) Parents should be vigilant because this is an accident-prone day for your kids.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Small appliances might break down or minor breakages could occur or someone unusual will knock on the front door because something will change your home routine today. Get dressed and stock the fridge. An impromptu gathering might take place?

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Today is full of surprises and interesting detours. New faces, new places and new ideas are popping up everywhere. However, this morning is a poor time to agree to anything important. (Check Moon Alert.) This is a fast-paced day, so be alert!

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Keep an eye on your money and possessions today because something unexpected could affect them. You might find money; you might lose money. Do what you can to protect what you own from loss, damage or theft. Don’t spend money this morning (except for food or gas) because of the moon alert. See above.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

This is an exciting, interesting day because you will discover new things, meet new people and see new places! However, in the morning, there is a moon alert so do not agree to anything important or spend money on anything other than food or gas.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actor Michael Sheen (1969) shares your birthday. You have an inquisitive mind and are perhaps interested in science and technology. You want to help society. This will be a more relaxed year for you. Because your interactions with others will be important, do your best to cooperate with others. Look for ways to be kind and helpful. Be open to engaging with others because business and personal relationships will benefit you.
