Chicago strengthened its Stanley Cup chances by bringing back veteran winger Andrew Ladd on Thursday.

The trade marks the return of the left winger to Chicago, where he spent part of three seasons after coming over from Carolina at the trade deadline in 2008.

Ladd was one of the first cap casualties following the Blackhawks’ 2010 championship. Nearly six years later, Chicago fans are glad to have him back.
