Though the suburbs have been sprinkled with Olive Gardens for decades, the first restaurant in Chicago proper opens Monday.
The latest Olive Garden — there are more than 800 locations worldwide — is in a new 7,780-square-foot building at 3555 W. Addison in the Irving Park neighborhood. The restaurant will seat more than 240 and create 170 jobs, the 32-year-old company said.
And yes, the Irving Park location will have the Never Ending Pasta Bowl, the company’s popular promotion featuring unlimited pasta, breadsticks, and soup or salad starting at $9.99.
